A field instrument for your beard

Count the field.
Track the grain.

BeardLog turns one photo into an honest hair estimate. Trace the patch you care about, dial in the detector, and see the resolved hairs plus an uncertainty range you can compare over time.

How it works
01

Upload a photo

Drop in a close-up. It's sent over an encrypted connection to our server for analysis — never shared or sold.

02

Draw the area

Trace exactly the patch you want to count — jaw, chin, a bare spot. You decide what counts.

03

Get your count

Slide the sensitivity and read the number. Green dots show every hair it found.

Why it's accurate

The secret is short stubble

At around 2 mm, every hair pokes out as its own distinct dot. Nothing overlaps, so BeardLog can count each follicle individually — a more repeatable measurement you can compare honestly from one month to the next.

Let it grow long and hairs merge into a mat. We'll still give you a count, but as an honest range — and we tell you which hairs were resolved exactly and which were estimated. No fake precision.
