Using BeardLog

BeardLog is provided "as is," with no warranty of any kind, express or implied. We work to keep counts accurate, but detector output is an estimate produced by an automated computer-vision model — it can miss or double-count hairs, especially in dense or blurry photos. Don't rely on any single count as a guaranteed, exact figure.

Not a medical device

BeardLog is a fun, personal tracking tool. It is not a medical or dermatological device and does not diagnose, treat, or provide advice about any skin, hair, or health condition (including conditions like alopecia, folliculitis, or hair loss). If you have a concern about your skin or hair, talk to a qualified clinician — not this app.

Acceptable use

• Only upload photos you own or have the right to share.
• Don't upload photos of anyone without their consent.
• Don't use BeardLog to try to break, overload, or reverse-engineer the service.
• Don't upload illegal content of any kind.

Free early access

Accounts and saved field journals are free in this early-access build. Each account may add up to two new photos in a rolling 24-hour window; retuning a saved photo does not consume another slot. No card or billing information is collected. Email verification and password reset are not available yet, so use an email you control and keep your password safe. Limits and future premium features may change as the product evolves.

Changes

We may update these terms as BeardLog evolves. Continuing to use the app after an update means you accept the current terms.
